- Planning Your Community - Chapter 2 from The Art of Community by Jono Bacon
- Joomla 1.6 Beta 1 Released! - We take a quick look at the first Beta from Joomla! in over a year.
- ATAAW Call to Action - This has already been a huge success with over 46 community members signing up to help the bug stomping initiative to move Joomla! Forward.
- Special Guest Nicholas Dionysopoulos from Akeeba Backup - We talk to Nicholas and find out what his thoughts are on the new found energy flowing around the project from a 3rd Party Devs perspective.
- Bug Stomping 101 - The first in a series of tutorials and videos on how to get involved with the Joomla Bug Squad from the admins of ATAAW.
- Interview with Johan Janssens and Shayne Bartlett of Nooku Framework fame and the creator of Joomla! 1.5. We discuss some of the topics covered in this weeks chapter and ask a few other fun questions... good time for sure from those guys.
Plus our regular News and Events, where we've been, where we're going and the usual suspects, J! Bad Boy of the week, J! Big Loser of the week and the J! Contributor of the Week.
The show airs live each Wednesday at 3PM CST with your hosts Amy Stephen and Robert Vining. You can also download or listen to the complete JoomStew Blog Talk Radio Show archive at JoomStew Blog Talk Radio and check back here to find out more information and links from each weeks show on the blog.
Look forward to seeing you there!

Amy, Robert,
Please consider dropping your “bad boy” and “loser” segments. These segments seem much too negative and out-of-place given the positive nature of your show.

“Bad boy” award is a fun award! Last week’s recipient was Marcos Pebbles for his Pirate Ship art shared on All Together. Marcos has been bragging about his title, having fun with it.
This week’s bad boy was thought to be Brian Teeman, someone well known for his trouble-making ways
. But we learned that the originator of the prank was none other than Phil Taylor for this tweet.
Yea, the Bad Boy award is one of honor.
This week, we did give a “Loser” award – not to anyone individually, but for the silliness on Twitter following Beta. When we release a Beta, it’s all glasses in the air and Hurrah! Bugs reported to the tracker and patches, too.
We don’t like the loser segment and it will never be pointed at an individual, and we expect not to use it again.
The Bad Boy Award will continue full speed ahead as long as this community has the great gift of jokers and pranksters and teasers amongst us. Those people make it fun to be here and we will do everything we can to encourage their naughty ways.
Thanks Bob – keep that feedback coming and thanks for your work podcasting Joomla! to the world, too!

I for one, love “bad boys”! Someday, I hope to become one!
