One lives in the big city of Chicago and meets clients face to face all the time, and the other is out in the country of New England and almost never sits across the table from a client. Both freelancers are very successful and business is booming. All three JoomStew cohosts learned a lot, and we're sure that you will too!

Louis Landry has announced that he will be terminating his contract with OSM in December. He still plans to participate and contribute to Joomla! regularly.

Where next for Joomla development? Joomla has announced the Joomla Idea Pool to get community feedback on features we want to see in future Joomla releases. There’s a link on our blog, so go vote for your favorite feature to be included in the upcoming Joomla releases.

The Joomla! website has a great, new navigation menu in place, including a section called “Do More”, where you will find the extensions, mailing lists and a link to the Developer Portal. The Community section has links to the Magazine, Forum, User Groups, Team Blogs and more! Check it out!

JoomlaDay in Valencia is this weekend November 26th & 27th, and JoomlaDay New York is next weekend, December 4th & 5th, where Jen Kramer will be speaking on Joomla 1.6 ACL.

Joomla! User Group Chicago - Meeting December 8th. This is a very large User Group with numbers reaching 60 to 70 per meeting! If you’re in the Chicago area, stop in and have some fun!
