We sat down with two of the lead organizers of J and Beyond 2012, Robert Deutz and Brian Teeman, who shared with us a few upcoming treats in store for JAB12. This year's event runs from May 18th - 20th, in Bad Nauheim, Germany, where Elvis Presley was based during his military stint. J and Beyond is an event geared towards developers and designers... In the words of Brian Teeman, "If you think you can't afford to go, you can't afford NOT to go!"

This is a continuation of the JoomStew Radio Show that occurred live at the J and Beyond 2011 Conference in Kerkrade, Netherlands. Alice and Dianne set up shop outside at the Ebay sponsored Barbeque held on the evening of Day 1 of the event. There was a steady stream of guests, and this part of the conversation was with a large group of the Molajo Team as well as a few members of the Board from Open Source Matters.
Thanks to Robert, Alex, Brian and everyone else who helped us at JAB11 and allowed us to record these shows there. Without the Joomla Community, we couldn't do this show! You guys are great!

Matias and Beyond 2011 Update
Thanks to you, we did it! We have achieved our goal to raise $2500.00 for Matias Aguirre's transportation and lodging to J! and Beyond 2011 in Kerkrade, Netherlands this May.
The tickets are purchased and reservations have been confirmed. Matias, the creator of the JUpgrade component will be at JAB11 in May.
In just under a 7 day period, from January 27th through February 2nd, 41 people donated money through the chip-in widgit and made this trip possible for Matias. 2 very generous people donated $500 or more, and 6 more donated at least a $100 each. It's truly amazing the generosity shown by the Joomla Community. Thank you all.
